Welcome and thank you for visiting our site.

PLEASE BE AWARE WE ARE NOT A CHARITY, however we have full support from The Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust Charitable Fund. Please click here to read more on this.

Bearing Hope has been created to help raise money to provide St Helier and Epsom hospital's maternity units with new bereavement rooms, vital equipment and essentials needed for the maternity bereavement department.

Families who have suffered a miscarriage, ending a wanted pregnancy or having a stillborn baby will truly understand how important it is to have the best facilities and information at such a difficult time.

Sadly in the UK one in every 200 births ends in a stillbirth. Eleven babies are stillborn every day, making it 15 times more common than sudden infant death syndrome (also know as cot death). More than 40,000 women will be told there is a risk their baby has a severe or fatal condition.

This is why we need your help. To understand more on what our aims are, check out our About us page.

Bearing Hope is run by bereaved parents & midwives who have experienced baby loss.  By having a crowdfunding page this ensures that all money donated goes directly to the our aims.
